  But it wont work on the HD-S CI100... not that I want it to since I dont even have a dish at 28.2 but just know that this software wont work on that receiever

  this one is for the Boca SL100Hd clone 'HD 200 CI / PVRready'but works perfectly well.
  Which makes it very hard to find when searching for the SL100HD

  Well I can't.
  I downloaded above editor, seems to work on my Vista PC. Dumped my 'Channel List' to a USB stick and opened it with AliEditor. Found the transponder and added ITV HD according to the above parameters. I get audio fine but only a blank (black) screen, (and yes there was a movie on at the time).
  So I saved the result as a back up on another USB stick and then tried editing the parameters (eg Service ID) on the original channel list and that's when it fell apart. The new channel list crashed the STB and when I Looked at it in the editor it had become garbled in the transponder list. Fixed the STB crash with the back-up and did a new dump to a re-formatted (Fat32) stick but each time I edit the list the data gets garbled. I even tried adding the channel again with a new name and slightly different data just as an 'Insert Channel' but it still garbles the transponder data. Even tried running XP compatability mode with no difference.
  After one use the editor keeps failing.
  Why does the Comag editor not permit all parameters to be changed?
  Oh and my particular set up makes using the RS232 editors impossible.

  I'm sorry that you're having problems.
  I'm using XP so don't know if vista is a problem.
  My only suggestion is to check your firmware. as far as i can tell it must be S2_E178_Terminal.
  my receiver was bought a few months ago and it didn't have this one on it, so I had to update it. Before that I couldn't get the channel.
  I've used the editor many times since loading the new firmware and it seems happy enough.

  Keith - I tried everything you suggested including the newer version of AliEditor and the E178 firmware but all I get is audio and a black screen.
  My box is slightly older than yours (maybe 6 months or so). I am wondering if there has been a hardware upgrade or something since my box was made. Please could you post the version numbers from the information page in the setup menu so that we can compare.
  I read somewhere else that ITV HD uses the H.222 video format rather than the more common H.264. Either this is untrue, or ITV HD has changed to H.264, or the Comag can now support H.222 (although your “video type” setting would suggest not the latter).
  Has anyone else had success with Keith’s method?

  And as its the video that's seems to be the problem my 'TV system' Settings are

  Video output YUV
  HDMI video out YCbCr 4:4:4
  I'd also like confirmation that others have been successful, as its a bit odd. I'll see if Rambo 3 comes in tonight at 10.35

  The only difference being the Ver_info date, although the version number is the same.
  My TV settings are:-

  HDMI video out YCbCr 4:4:4
  I'll change the resolution to 1080i_30 now and will also check out Rambo later.
  Do you get any kind of 'off-air' screen when ITV HD is not transmitting (which seems to be most of the time)?

  sorry, I'm now getting the same problem as reported - no picture just sound.
  This is really odd (to me anyway) as i have had the off air picture on more than one occassion and the star/sun sequence that gets played. I've also seen a news broadcast on it (albeit not in HD).
  I've tried re-adding the channel through the editor but that didn't work. I tried re-scanning the TP, that did bring up the channel but with the video pid as 0. I couldn't repeat that again.
  If anyone has any ideas (or has got this to work) please let us know.

  keith100 I wanted to let you know your solution did work for me up until last Wednesday/Friday timeframe. Everything was fine until I recorded the Intolerable Cruelty film on Friday night and discovered no picture just sound. This has persisted ever since. They seem to have changed something. From the date of your post up to and including both episodes of Wuthering Heights on Sunday/Monday and The Fixer on Tuesday all was fine.
  I have tried updating the OS to 184, I was on an old original OS by the way, not 178. It's as if they have changed the video PID. Can someone in the know show us the way?
  ITV has problems enough without doing technical things to reduce the numbers that can view it.

  Valuable feedback Analogman. It sure is strange that you guys had a working solution - and now you don’t. On the upside, it does prove that the box is capable of receiving the stream. Just a thought - if ITV changed the video PID wouldn’t everyone’s channel settings need to change also?

  analogman - thank you for confirming that I wasn't imagining it – I had my doubts for a while.
  Going by other threads ITV HD do seem to be actively playing with things.
  creoda – http://sl100hd.de.gg has all of the official firmwares including betas.
  They’re up to 187 beta.
  I tried this one, but it didn’t give ITV HD either.
  http://sl100hd.de.gg also has a lot of detail on the firmwares in German, I’ve not got google to translate it all as the details are in some sort of window, so I’m not sure how much useful information is there. I’m going to try later with another method and see what’s there and I’ll report back. It looks like its mostly recording issues though.
  I'll also have a look around to see if other sites are reporting the same thing with the channel.

  As i suspected its mostly recording issues and minor (to me anyway) fixes that have happened.
  I haven't found anything else yet, but perhaps it will be possible again one day, and I'll let you know if I find anything else out.

  I have ITV working again - Billy Connolly in Canda right now.
  It needs the new beta E42 firmware, available from the site mentioned above, but the same channel settings. The channel will need adding as its not on the default settings.
  Only problem I've found so far is that it won't upload my old channels, which is a bit of a pain but that might just be the size of it .
  no promises on how long it will last though.

  Good job Keith100 - glad you have it back again.
  Unfortunately my Comag packed up last week so I had to exchange it for a Fortec Passion+, which seems to get ITV HD OK anyway.

  So I now have BBCHD and ITVHD working fine, sound and vision, with the COMAG SL100HD using the new E42 OS and adding in ITVHD as explained by keith100 above.
  I also now have C4HD by using a Diablo CAM with Underworld 182 and a new Sky FTV white card. But here is my problem:
  For example, last nights film Mr.& Mrs. Smith->
  The sound (Audio PID 641) is the stereo soundtrack but with the visually impaired's audio description voice mixed in as well.
  The sound when selecting the AC3 option (Audio PID 661) is not there, just silence. (Yes I am using the P= & P- buttons to select Stereo AC3)
  If anyone has any help to crack this last remaining problem I would be very grateful to hear it. Thanks.

  My ITVHD works as well.
  Only comments I would add are:-
  had to switch language back to English after E42 update - I guess that's a common 'problem'
  Transponder 11428 was already on Astra 2A,2B,2D - adding it again made the file too big. Added the channel to this existing transponder and it just worked! Thanks for all this information. Now we need something to WATCH!

  I was given a Comag SL100HD for Christmas I am having problems with receaving ITV HD so I contacted Comag at http://www.comag-ag.co.uk/index.php
  and they have been very helpful, they sent me an attachment in an E-mail with the following info:-
  Upgrade you receiver to (S2_SL100_302) Firmware. Place file on the root of a USB drive and go to software update on your receiver.
  Now reset your receiver to defaults and then scan ASTRA 2A,2B,2D E 28.2 for channels
  When this is done then download the channel list to USB via the update menu.
  Now run AliEditor on your PC and load in your channel list.
  Edit the saved channel list for ASTRA 2A,2B,2D E 28.2 as follows.
  Add transponder 11428 MHz, H, 27500
  Add a new channel with the following settings to the transponder
  Channel Name: ITV HD
  Channel Type: TV
  Service ID: 10515
  Video PID: 3401
  PCR: 3401
  Audio type1: AC3
  Video type: H264
  Audio mode: stereo
  Audio PID1: 3402.
  Save channel list to your USB drive and reload on you receiver via update menu.
  A Single Satellite Search may be needed to provide access to all original channels.
  With no ITV transmission you should receive the ITV1-HD logo.
  The receiver upgrade was in the mail as a zip file & the latest AliEditor I've unpacked the upgrade it but have not tried yet as I have to get a USB flash pen drive.

  As noted above, 6th September 2009, I did all of the above but still could not get ITV HD. I gave up because the trouble was not worth the advantage of getting the channel.
  I could get the channel and it's audio but the screen stayed resolutely blank.However, without any further input from me, during January there appeared the pictures as well as the sound. Clearly ITV have changed some parameter or other. Regrettably there is still little worth watching (not being a footy fan).

  How does one add info to a program list on the aileditor, I can delete from the listings & change settings to existing channels but I cant add to them, I managed to edit a scrambled Channel that was on the 11428 transponder to the ITV HD settings but all I got was a black screen.

  I cracked how to edit TP's and the channel listings added ITV HD now to see if it works!!!!
